Features:
- The Millennium is an extremely flexible system
that works as a PBX, key system, hybrid, tandem switch, channel bank,
protocol converter, or conduit for data applications. The Millennium is
digital end-to-end and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN)
compatible on both the station side and network side. Digital
capability, universal ports, highly adaptable programmability, and
architectural flexibility are inherent in the system design. Regardless
of utilized capacity, the system is nonblocking with consistent speech
quality. The system's stored-program database contains a full complement
of software feature applications.

Superior Call Coverage
The Millennium's flexible call coverage features
provide a means to ensure that calls are routed and handled by proper,
designated extensions so that calls are handled by qualified,
knowledgeable employees at all times, even if a call has to be directed
off-premises; for example, to a cellular phone. The Millennium will
redirect calls to alternate extensions when the original called party is
not available. You determine the criteria for redirecting a call as well
as the conditions for the coverage paths - for example, no answer,
unavailable, or busy. The Millennium can also distinguish between
internal and external calls, and provide different coverage paths for
each.
Networking
From campus environments to distributed call
centers, the Millennium provides networking capabilities and unmatched
data connectivity in industries where a communication hub is required to
provide a central point of entry into a system or network. By optimizing
the inherent flexibility of the system's features, the Millennium offers
cost-effective, results-oriented solutions for a variety of unique
networking applications, including remote office data communications
enabled through both PRI and BRI Circuit Switched Data.
The Millennium CTI Server is a standards-based
solution that extends the Millennium's native CSTA interface to include
support for third party CSTA, TSAPI, and TAPI applications. The
Millennium CTI Server provides customers with a common open-platform,
based on the broadly supported CTI interfaces, for building
sophisticated, cost-effective computer telephony solutions.

in-building wireless technology. For short-range mobility around the
office or greater mobility across a campus or multi-story building, the
full-featured Orbit™ Handset provides digital clarity and ease of use
for active employees, enabling them to remain as accessible on the sales
